Our sweet little baby boy was baptized on Christmas Eve at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Lake. We decided to baptize Collier during the Christmas holiday because his godparents, Aunt Rachel and Uncle Kenneth, would be able to attend. After somewhat of a disaster with the baptismal gown that my Mom had made (it looked a little too girly), Collier sported an adorable white sweater outfit and was wrapped up in a white blanket from my Pawpaw that all of my nephews also used during their baptisms. Collier didn't make a sound while Daddy held him during the baptism, when the minister poured the water on his head, or when he was passed around the congregation.
After the service, we all headed to Mom and Eddie's for dinner. We had a great time celebrating Collier's baptism with family and are thankful so many were able to attend.
